Zillow or Agent Websites?
Accuracy matters in a competitive market
The big real estate portal sites have convinced consumers that they are the best resource for real estate information. But there are many things they don't tell you. Like, for instance, that they aren't real estate companies.
What does that matter to you? Only real estate companies have up to the minute, accurate MLS data. And accuracy matters in competitive real estate markets.
Another thing they don't tell you is that the agents whose smiling faces you see on their websites are not always the listing agent. Those smiling faces paid to appear there.
While Zillow, Trulia and the other portals (fondly referred to in the industry as the "ZTR's") leave you frantically trying to connect with a handful of uninterested agents who only bought advertising space because they heard it was marketing flavor of the month, Realtor & Silicon Beach real estate expert Tracy Thrower Conyers is here inviting you to roam the MLS data to your heart's content with NO required logins.
Additionally, most of the information the portals provide is also available on this site. If it isn't, ping me and I'll get it for you.
And I care. Think of me as your personal real estate concierge.
